The Happy Carrot was born from a genuine love of healthy eating and a simple desire to live well.
For us, food has always been about more than what ends up on the plate. It is about looking after ourselves, looking after each other, and feeling more connected to the world around us.
We love the colour, freshness and energy of good ingredients, and we believe healthy food should feel exciting, generous and full of flavour, not restrictive or complicated.
Our passion for growing our own produce came from that same place. There is something really special about planting something, caring for it, watching it grow, and then using it to create food for the people around you. It brings our family together, it teaches patience and care, and it reminds us to appreciate where food comes from.
The garden is a big part of who we are. It is where we learn, experiment and get inspired. Some days it gives us crisp leaves, herbs, cucumbers, tomatoes or spring onions. Other days it reminds us that nature has its own plans. Either way, it keeps us curious.

Home-grown is only part of the story — the rest comes from the local growers, bakers and roasters we're proud to work with around King's Lynn. We're putting their stories here soon, so you know exactly who's behind what's on your plate.
We are not trying to be perfect or preachy. We are simply creating food that reflects what we care about.
Fresh, thoughtful ingredients, and a genuine respect for where they come from.
Growing food together taught us that good meals are better shared.
Healthy food that feels exciting and generous, never restrictive.
You'll find us inside Studio 19 in King's Lynn, serving fresh salads, smoothies, juices, toasties, breakfast bowls and proper coffee.
Some ingredients are home-grown, some are carefully chosen, and everything is made with the same intention: to help people enjoy food that feels good, tastes good and does a little good too.
